The following article was written in 2005, and I feel the prompting of the Lord to re-release it now.

IT HAS BEGUN

Today’s message is quite unlike what I normally write for these pages, but I feel an urgency in my spirit that it is a word which must go out. Initially I thought this was an experience just for me – and it has certainly made an impact on my personal life – but as I was worshipping the Lord last night, He kept impelling me to write it and send it out to the Body of Christ. Those of you who know me, know that I do not give out prophetic words lightly, particularly not to the Body of Christ as a whole, but I believe that this is a word from the Lord that must go out to the Body. Therefore I am asking that you would pass it on to as many people as you can. Direct them to this page, copy it and send it out to your e-mail list, post it in your groups, print it and give it to your friends. This is a word the Body of Christ must hear. Pray that they will take it to their hearts.

A month ago, on 10th July 2005, I had just returned from the Philippines and was ministering at a church in Brisbane. During worship in the evening service, I felt myself move out of the natural realm and into the realm of the spirit, and I began to hear the distant thud of hoofbeats, the hoofbeats of a white horse whose Rider is called Faithful and True. I heard the rumbling of the clouds as they parted to make way for Him, and a silent Voice seemed to reverberate through the universe, declaring “It has begun!” I had the overwhelming, urgent sense that it is established in the heavenlies, the process has been launched, and nothing now will change it.

For the past 2000 years, God has given it into the hands of the Church to hasten or delay the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. That time has now passed. The timetable is established, and he will wait for no-one! There is an urgency that has never been before.

Christian, have you been playing games with God? Have you been so caught up in your own small needs and offences that you have ignored God’s call? It is time to stop! Get serious and get about the Father’s business while there is still time.

Pastor, have you been “playing church”, going through the motions and lulling your people into comfortable drowsiness? It is time to stop! Wake up, and wake your people up, before it is too late and their blood is upon your hands.

Church, have you been too busy thinking about whether the carpet needs replacing and how to get a better deal on new air conditioning to be bothered with the needs of the world around you? It is time to stop! Move into your destiny in God and change this world for Him.

Church, we have run out of time, we have run out of chances. This is it! Either we move into God’s purposes now, or we will miss the boat. The countdown has begun! It will not stop for anyone, nor will it be stopped by anyone. This world, with all who are in it, has very little time left. The Rider on the white horse is headed this way. When we see Him, it will be too late.

I know many will laugh at this, and will dismiss it as “just one more nut predicting the end of the world.” I know others will come over with a bad case of “Jesus goosebumps” and say, “Oh yes, isn’t that exciting!” but do nothing about it. I know others will say, “So-and-so needs to hear this,” and will pass it on without taking it to heart themselves. Don’t be one of them! God is speaking to you, today. You have very little time left. Don’t squander it.
