There is one God, and one mediator between God and people, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5) in Whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form (Colossians 2:9) and Whom God the Father has exalted to the highest place, giving Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Escape from abuse, violence, depression, suicide and the occult.
Have you ever wondered, "Where can I find an answer?" or "Is there a way out?" Have you cried out "Surely there is someone who can help?" Take heart, there is hope.
This is my story. It is unique, because every person's story is unique. No other person has exactly the same mix of personality and experiences. However, in many ways it is also common. You may not have experienced all the things I have, but you may have experienced some.
Maybe you had (or still have) abusive parents. Maybe your life is surrounded by violence. Maybe you live with someone who suffers mental illness. Perhaps you have personally known the black depths of depression; maybe you have thought of ending it all, or have even attempted suicide. Perhaps, like so many, you have dabbled, or are still dabbling, in the occult - anything from new age and eastern religions to outright satanism.
Whatever it is, take heart, this is written to tell you there is a way out.
On the other hand, maybe your prison is one I have never known - drugs, for example, or prostitution. Whilst my story may not relate to you directly, know that for you also there is hope.
Wherever you are at, don't feel condemned. There is a way out.
